Job Summary:
This position will be an expert with the MIRA Surgery Systems, provide a hands-on level of exceptional service to first access sites for successful systems implementation and use, technical and clinical support with hospital key stakeholders while undertaking case support & troubleshooting in the O.R. for surgical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to become a MIRA Surgery Systems expert.
- Responsible for providing the successful implementation of the MIRA surgical system in an assigned territory for first access sites, maintaining a continual hands-on working relationship with hospital key personnel.
- Provide comprehensive support at the hospital locations to include OR assistance, training, case support, and troubleshooting for associated surgical team members.
- Create competency, comfort, and expertise with all MIRA Surgery Systems among physicians and support staff.Lead surgical teams through training sessions, OR integration and MIRA Surgery Systems to drive robot utilization.

- Provide ongoing advice and guidance to the customer teams and opportunities to maximize utilization of the systems enabling best clinical outcomes.
- Build lasting, engaging relationships with hospital surgeons, OR staff while providing continual hands-on customer service onsite.
- Maintains a positive, proactive approach to solving complex and/or unusual clinical /technical problems.
- Foresees obstacles and plans accordingly for seamless execution.
- Responsible for adhering to all regulatory policies to ensure patient safety and company responsibility.
- Develops and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers.
- Provides feedback to providers both within operating room setting and outside operating room setting on the directions for use specific to the product and its maintenance.
- Meet all requirements and maintain credentialing status in order to access accounts.
- Provides sales support when needed on clinical in-services, training, and guidance to current or potential customers.
- Troubleshoots product issues in the field and respond to R&D and Sales & Marketing staff and customer product issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Related bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years’ operating room experience. Soft tissue indications: general surgery and gynecology strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with complex medical devices – preferrable with a robotic technology with emphasis on soft tissue surgical procedures.
- Solid knowledge in science and medical devices industry
- Exceptional knowledge of human anatomy.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing tasks.
- Outstanding communication skills (clear and concise in all forms of communications)
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the willingness to take calculated risks and act decisively (but should communicate potential consequences to enable informed business decisions)
- Strong prioritization skills and experience managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Highly organized and demonstrates understanding of workflow prioritization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
- Availability to work weekends and overnights when needed.
- Ability to extract and position key data elements from clinical studies that support safety and effectiveness in a concise, compelling manner.
- The employee will frequently be exposed to clinical operating rooms, for which proper personal protection equipment will be assigned and worn.
